HEY EARTH RUNNERS, GET YOUR SHOES ON - WE’RE GOING FOR AN ADVENTURE RUN! THE SPIRIT OF THE GRAVEL SERIES IS TAKING OVER THE GERMAN TRAIL RUNNING SCENE. TOGETHER WITH TOP RUNNING CREWS, WE’VE SCOUTED 22 ORBITS JUST BEYOND YOUR BACKYARD. THIS SERIES GOES BEYOND A TYPICAL MARATHON, ALWAYS SEEKING THE BEST TRAILS, STEEPEST CLIMBS AND GREATEST ADVENTURES. EACH ORBIT SPANS 40–50 KM AND CAN BE RUN BETWEEN JUNE AND OCTOBER. THERE’S NO ENTRY FEE, BUT WE ENCOURAGE TO LEAVE A DONATION TO SUPPORT REFORESTATION PROJECTS BY THE GENERATION FOREST.
THE IDEA
IT'S 2020
Everything started with a new idea to keep things moving. COVID-19 forced most event to shut down almost overnight and the Orbit360 crew came up with a new format.
IT'S 2025
While cycling remains one of the most appreciated activities in our lives, we also returned to our roots and started running again. So why not implement a trail running series to raise awareness for climate change and, overall, give runners the opportunity to enjoy a well-planned route and compete in ghost mode - anytime, (almost) anywhere!
IT'S NOT TOO LATE
Over the past five years, we’ve donated over EUR 60,000 - thanks to YOU, the scouts and everyone who helped build this incredible project. Participation is free, but we encourage all runners to leave a donation (if you can). With your donations, we support reforestation projects of The Generation Forest (TGF). TGF establishes permanent generation forests on degraded land in Panama to offset CO₂ emissions.
We aim to raise a donation target of EUR 8,000 to purchase 2,000 square meters of land for reforestation, offsetting 4 tons of CO2 each year.

2 | DONATE
There is no entry fee, but we kindly ask all riders to leave a donation if possible. This is a non-profit event and all contributions will go directly to The Generation Forest.
3 | TAG ORBIT360
Tag Orbit360 as a participant in your completed run so we can include your name in the ranking. Please tag us directly after you've finished your Orbit, and only tag us on completed Orbits (not planned ones).
4 | CHECK THE RANKING
We'll update the ranking every Wednesday. Keep it an on it, because there are great prices to win. We'll raffle free tickets for the GRAVITY FESTIVAL among all completed runs for each Orbit.
5 | DROP SOME LOVE
Scouting an Orbit takes weeks, maybe months. All scouts are dedicated to contributing to this project and supporting the raising of donations for a good cause. If you appreciate their work, let them know. It does make a difference!

THE ENTIRE ORBIT360 TEAM WILL BE HOSTING COMMUNITY RUNS ACROSS ALL ORBITS STARTING ON THE FIRST WEEKEND OF JUNE. THERE WILL BE A COMMUNITY RUN EACH WEEKEND - ON ONE ORBIT AT A TIME. AGAIN, THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE, BUT WE ENCOURAGE ALL RIDERS TO LEAVE A DONATION, WHICH WILL GO TOWARDS SUPPORTING REFORESTATION PROJECTS BY THE GENERATION FOREST. GENERATION FOREST
RAINFORESTS AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate disasters, rising CO₂ pollution and rapid global warming make it clear that we must act urgently. That’s why we are committed to fighting for a better climate - both in nature and in the society we live in. Instead of focusing solely on offsetting or damage control, we must take nature-positive action to sustainably restore the resilience of our environment, communities and planet. Beyond reducing emissions, it is crucial to support additional CO₂ absorption in ways that do not cause ecological harm. The solution: Generation Forests, which absorb 20 tonnes of CO₂ per hectare each year through trees, plants, and soil - growing four times faster than European forests. Our goal is to raise 8,000 EUR to purchase 2,000 square meters of land for reforestation, offsetting 4 tonnes of CO₂ annually.

First of all, we want to bring the adventure behind your backyard, so you don't have to fly for a bit of cycling. Furthermore, we are raising donations for THE GENERATION FOREST. All funds will be forwarded to Generation Forest, who plants generation forest in designated areas in Panama.
With runFAR, we are hosting Community Runs each weekend - one Orbit at a time. Feel free to join us and spend some time with us. We're looking forward to meet you.
Yes, even though the Trail Running Series is designed to force personal connection by running together, we'll also host a ranking. Simply invite Orbit360 as participants on komoot and let us do the rest.
We want to lower the barriers to our sport for people with tighter budgets. Together with our partners, we'll provide a supportl equipment and a free ticket for SNEAK PEAKS Trail Running Expedition in 2026 for the Super Orbiter:in.
We’ll let you know when the campaign starts! Simply upload a photo on Instagram and tag Orbit360. We’ll select 8 runners and post their photos on our channel. The entire Orbit360 community can vote for their Super Orbiter:in over the next 7 days.
Just go out and have fun! Run some Orbits and bring others along - both in real life and on social media. Many people are afraid of long distances, but you can prove them wrong. It’s always easier than it seems - you just have to give it a try!
