THE ORBIT360 GRAVEL SERIES WAS THE WORLD'S FIRST DIY CYCLING EVENT, BORN OUT OF THE COVID-19 UPHEAVEL. OVER 4.000 RIDERS HAVE PARTICIPATED, MORE THAN 100 ORBITS HAVE BEEN SCOUTED BY THE COMMUNITY AND WE HAVE RAISED OVER 60.000 EUR IN DONATIONS TO SUPPORT CYCLING-RELATED NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS AND CLIMATE INITIATIVES. IN 2026, 22 NEW ORBITS ARE WAITING TO BE EXPLORED - YOU ARE RIDING ALONE OR WILL BE JOINING OUR RIDEFAR COMMUNITY RIDES.
It's 2020. The world was in shock. Sporting events were first postponed, then cancelled. To protect each other, people could no longer socialise, meet, or, for a time, even leave their homes. Loneliness, inner restlessness, and depression took hold. That’s when we had an idea: a way to keep moving, to compete, and - better yet - to ride together. In ghost mode. A new era was born—starting far away, in Outer Space.
IT'S 2025
The world has moved past the COVID-19 pandemic, but whether we’ve truly learned our lessons is a matter of perspective. While some problems have been solved, new challenges have emerged. We’re ready to face them. With the Gravel Series, we aim to give back to the community, raising awareness and donations to fight for our planet and our rights. For three years now, we’ve supported The Generation Forest - and we’re committed to continuing this support.
IT'S NOT TOO LATE
Over the past five years, we’ve donated over EUR 60,000—thanks to YOU, the scouts, and everyone who helped build this incredible project. In 2025, we’ll continue scouting the finest gravel(+) routes for you gravel cosmonaut. Join the Orbit360 Outer Space: ride the routes, leave a donation, tag us on komoot and create your own adventures. With your donations, we support reforestation projects of The Generation Forest (TGF). TGF establishes permanent generation forests on degraded land in Panama, helping to offset CO₂ emissions, create protected habitats for endangered species and provide vital economic opportunities for local communities. We aim to raise a donation target of EUR 8,000 to purchase 2,000 square meters of land for reforestation, offsetting 4 tons of CO₂ each year.
All routes for the 2025 season will be released in May. We'll provide a thorough route description for every Orbit and a routes overview in a komoot collection. tbd.

2 | DONATE
There is no entry fee, but we kindly ask all riders to make a donation if possible. This is a non-profit event and all contributions will go directly to The Generation Forest.
3 | TAG ORBIT360
Tag ORBIT360 as a participant in your completed ride so we can include your name in the ranking. Please tag us directly after you've finished your Orbit, and only tag us on completed Orbits (not planned ones).
4 | CHECK THE RANKING
We'll update the ranking every Wednesday. Keep it an on it, because there are great prices to win. We'll raffle free tickets for the GRAVITY FESTIVAL among all completed ride for each Orbit.
5 | DROP SOME LOVE
Scouting an Orbit takes weeks, maybe months. All scouts are dedicated to contributing to this project and supporting the raising of donations for a good cause. If you appreciate their work, let them know. It makes a difference!

THE ENTIRE ORBIT360 TEAM WILL BE HOSTING COMMUNITY RIDES ACROSS ALL ORBITS STARTING ON THE FIRST WEEKEND OF JUNE. THERE WILL BE A COMMUNITY RIDE EACH WEEKEND - ON ONE ORBIT AT A TIME. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE, BUT WE ENCOURAGE ALL RIDERS TO LEAVE A DONATION, WHICH WILL GO TOWARDS SUPPORTING REFORESTATION PROJECTS BY THE GENERATION FOREST. Climate disasters, rising CO₂ pollution and rapid global warming make it clear that we must act urgently. That’s why we are committed to fighting for a better climate - both in nature and in the society we live in. Instead of focusing solely on offsetting or damage control, we must take nature-positive action to sustainably restore the resilience of our environment, communities and planet. Beyond reducing emissions, it is crucial to support additional CO₂ absorption in ways that do not cause ecological harm. The solution: Generation Forests, which absorb 20 tonnes of CO₂ per hectare each year through trees, plants, and soil - growing four times faster than European forests. Our goal is to raise 8,000 EUR to purchase 2,000 square meters of land for reforestation, offsetting 4 tonnes of CO₂ annually.

First of all, we want to bring the adventure behind your backyard, so you don't have to fly for a bit of cycling. Furthermore, we are raising donations for THE GENERATION FOREST. All funds will be forwarded to Generation Forest, who plants generation forest in designated areas in Panama.
There are many gravel cosmonauts in the ORBIT360 outer space. Since 2020, over 80 gravel cosmonauts have scouted 103 Orbits. We love the adventure, discovering new trails and connecting them into great routes - and we hope you love them too! :)
With rideFAR, we are hosting Community Rides each weekend - one Orbit at a time. Feel free to join us and spend some time with us. We're looking forward to meet you.
This is not about speed! We're trying to stay together for as long as possible and wait at the finish for the last riders. For some Orbits, we plan to complete the route over two days, with a camping spot in between.
Yes, even though the Gravel Series is designed to force personal connection by riding together, we'll also host a ranking. Simply invite Orbit360 as participants on komoot and let us do the rest.
We want to lower the barriers to our sport for people with tighter budgets. Together with our partners, we'll provide a bike, additional equipment, and a free ticket for SNEAK PEAKS for the Super Orbiter:in.
We’ll let you know when the campaign starts! Simply upload a photo on Instagram and tag Orbit360. We’ll select 8 gravel cosmonauts and post their photos on our channel. The entire Orbit360 community can vote for their Super Orbiter:in over the next 7 days.
Just go out and have fun on your bike! Ride some Orbits and bring others along - both in real life and on social media. Many people are afraid of long distances, but you can prove them wrong. It’s always easier than it seems - you just have to give it a try!
We want GRAVITY FESTIVAL to be a beautiful place for all ofus. A place to feel comfortable, with the possibility to feel ourselves. A place to relieve ourselves of social limits and feel free. And above all, we do not want the boundaries of our fellow human-beings being violated. We request you to: Be mindful, respectful, and considerate towards other, respect their boundaries with the same care you hope to receive! Pay attention to the signs you get verbal or non-verbal –especially every “no”! Because only “yes” means “yes”! If you experience any kind of discriminatory, if you or anybody around you feels molested by touch, words or glances. If you need somebody to talk to and who listens to what you have to say.
