TheOrbit360 Gravel Series is organized by Orbit360 GmbH.The seriesconsists of designated routes spread across Germany and its neighboringcountries.The goal ofparticipation is to complete these routes in self-supported mode by bike whileexperiencing the diversity of landscapes around the world.TheOrbit360 Gravel Series serves as a social and recreational sporting activity.All rules and conditions of participation are designed to support the spirit ofself-supported bikepacking adventures. All participants are expected to beself-reliant and to adhere to the following terms and rules at all times.Participants are individuals who register via the website www.orbit360.ccand complete at least one of the designated routes.
§ 1 Registration
1.1 Registration for the Orbit360 Gravel Series is done through the website www.orbit360.cc. Participation is free of charge. However, we appreciate a donation (1% of your bikepacking setup, including the bike), which will be allocated to THE GENERATION FOREST. 1.2 Registrations made in any other form, particularly verbal, by phone, or via mail, will not be considered. 1.3 The Orbit360 Gravel Series runs from June 1, 2025, to October 31, 2025. Registration is possible at any time within this period. 1.4 Only routes completed within the above time frame will be counted for the Gravel Series. Participants have no claim to retroactively include routes completed outside this period.
§ 2 Eligibility
2.1 Participation in the Orbit360 Gravel Series is open to natural persons who are at least 18 years old. 2.2 Participants confirm that they hold personal liability insurance.
§ 3 Routes
3.1 TheOrbit360 Gravel Series will offer 22 different routes. 3.2 The scouting for these routes took place from August 2024 to April 2025. The routes were carefully planned and put together with great effort and best intentions. However, unforeseen obstacles may occur along the way, such as construction sites, fallen trees, floods, or road closures. In such cases, participants must find a reasonable detour on their own.
§ 4 Evaluation
4.1 The organizer provides an overview of all participants who have completed at least one route in the collections on Komoot (https://www.komoot.de/user/orbit). 4.2 It is the responsibility of the riders to invite the Orbit360 Komoot profile as a participant upon completing their ride. 4.3 To be included in the participant list, the following conditions must bemet: Registration via www.orbit360.cc has been completed. The entire Orbit route has been completed. The designated route was followed. The komoot account Orbit360 was added as a participant.
§ 5 Data Processing / Photo, Video, and Audio
5.1 Participation in the Orbit360 Gravel Series requires the provision of personal data. Participants confirm that all information provided is truthful and accurate. 5.2 Participants agree to the processing of their personal data for promotional purposes related to the event. 5.3 This agreement particularly includes the publication of personal data in start and result lists as well as in all relevant event-related media, including print and online publications. 5.4 Consent to data processing can be revoked at any time. Revocation must be sent to info@orbit360.cc. 5.5 The privacy policy is available at www.orbit360.cc/datenschutz.
§ 6 Disclaimer of Liability
6.1 As a condition of participation, each participant agrees to assume responsibility for any risks to their person and property arising from participation in the Orbit360 Gravel Series. They waive any claims against individuals, institutions, or companies organizing the event. 6.2 The organizer is not liable for damages or losses incurred by participants during sports activities, the use of facilities, or any other activity carried out for the event, unless such damages or losses are covered by existing insurance. 6.3 If organizers, officials, helpers, and sponsors (or their legal representatives and agents) are not at fault, participants waive any claims for damages related to injuries, health issues, property, or financial losses. 6.4 Organizers, officials, helpers, and sponsors (including their legal representatives and agents) are only liable in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence. Minor negligence only results in liability for injuries to life, body, or health, as well as for damages arising from breaches of essential contractual obligations. 6.5 By accepting these terms and conditions via www.orbit360.cc, each participant declares that they have read, understood, and accepted the event rules, regulations, and conditions. They also confirm that they are adequately insured against accidents and participate at their own risk. 6.6 By accepting the terms, participants acknowledge that the event takes place on public roads and that the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) and Bundeswaldgesetz (BWaldG) must be observed.
§ 7 Changes to the Participation Rules and Termination of the Event
7.1 Orbit360 GmbH reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at anytime. 7.2 Orbit360 GmbH also reserves the right to terminate or suspend any prize draws or raffles related to the event at any time for important reasons, especially if circumstances disrupt or prevent the fair execution of the draw. 7.3 If a participant's behavior leads to the premature termination of a prize draw or event, Orbit360 GmbH may demand compensation for any damages incurred.
§ 8 Right of Withdrawal
8.1 Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal when entering into a remote contract. The provider informs participants accordingly. 8.2 Right of Withdrawal: Participants have the right to revoke this contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is 14days from the day the participant (or an authorized third party) takes possession of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, participants must inform us via a clear statement (e.g., by letter, fax, or email). A sample withdrawal form is available but not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the notice before the deadline expires. 8.3 Consequences of Withdrawal: If participants revoke the contract, we will refund all received payments, including standard shipping costs (excluding any additional costs due to alternative shipping options chosen by the participant), within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method unless otherwise agreed. No fees will be charged for the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or proof of return, whichever is earlier. Participants must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of their withdrawal. The participant bears the direct costs of returning the goods and is liable for any loss of value resulting from improper handling.
§ 9 Final Provisions
9.1 If individual provisions of these participation conditions are wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining clauses remains unaffected. 9.2 The legal relationship between participants and the organizer is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. 9.3 The original terms and conditions are drafted in German. Translations maybe provided for convenience and transparency. In case of discrepancies, the German version shall prevail. These general terms and conditions are subject to German law. The place of fulfillment and jurisdiction for all obligations arising from this contract is the Federal Republic of Germany.
